Wednesday 13th April 2011

Today has been so busy that I don't know where the time has gone. It's already after 6pm and I have so much that I want to do tonight.  Yesterday I had the most interesting time, talking to a lady called Marie from Friday Harbour , USA.  Sometimes you just connect with someone and even though you don't know each other you feel a bond...maybe it's as I am getting older that I can see the similarities rather than the differences in people.  Anyhow for those of you who know me you would think I had taken a chill pill, I'm not normally this mellow.....yes it's got to be hormones or age or maybe the fact that DH and I have had the house to ourselves for nearly a week.....ah bliss. 

Still working away on my coiled bowls, this is one I have finished, and the other is work in progress.

 I feel that I need to work more on the placement of the colours, I was trying to achieve a look of the Solway Coast, but it's not what I had in mind.  I shall think of this as my prototype and keep working......
There is nothing else to do tonight as the weather is absolutely revolting, just look....

Unfortunately you can't see the lashing rain, but believe me it's coming down like cats and dogs, and it's gone really cold again and moan, moan, moan.....that's it I'm off to do something nice.
