Holiday in France

I am sad to say that I am back in the UK, I really could have stayed forever in France. We stayed at a wonderful Gite in Guemene Penfao, in the Loire Atlantique region of France. It was run by a lovley couple called Teresa and Ian, who made us most welcome. The Gite was lovely, so calm and peaceful in the most beautiful surroundings. Teresa has a very good site which gives all the details of the gite and things to do in the surrounding area. http://Loireatlantique.co.uk

I am now on the look out for any excuse to go back, anyone want a patchwork and sewing teacher in France? I have lots of experience and very reasonable rates.......??!!!

Here is a picture of the gite, with my father sitting outside enjoying the sunshine.

There are some really wonderful towns and villages in the area, one of the loveliest was La Gacilly, which is very "arty", I bought an unusual painting that was done on a vine leaf by an artist called Christine Caboche - De Falco. It was quite small, but captured my imagination and I just had to have it. Just need to decide where to put it now - feel like it would look so much better on a wall in France, the light would be more flattering (you can tell I want to go and live there can't you?)
