Well it's raining cats and dogs here, nothing changes. I am so sick of the grotty weather, when is spring going to come? I cheered myself up with a bit of sewing today and made a bottle carrier, a square bag that can hold up to four bottles of wine. Sounds good to me, next time I visit Rochdale, I will take it with me, filled of course !!!

I have just had a difficult visit to a local gentleman who lost his wife before Christmas, and she was into crafts, crochet, tatting, and a bit of sewing. Her husband asked me if I would like the bits and pieces she had left behind, he just couldn't find it in himself to throw these items away. So I gratefully took them, I am sure I will find a use for most if not all of it. It's funny how, if you are into crafts of any description that you become quite precious about your stash of bits and bobs, and you don't want to chuck anything out. Well it obviously gets passed on to our other halves, who feel the same - bless.

Our quilting exhibition is nearly upon us, so I'm back into the sewing room, to finish off a couple of things I want to put into the show.
