Twisted Sisters
No, I'm not being insulting to mine or anyone else's sister, it's a new pattern I have just tried, and very nice it is too. When I went to the Big Quilt Show in Birmingham last year (or the Festival of Quilts as it's better known) I found some really yummy material (you know the sort, the minute you see it you just have to buy it) and decided to try this new pattern. It is not a difficult pattern at all, I bought a template from Creative Grids and away I went. You will have to excuse the visible tacking, but this is a "work in progress" and needs quilting. What do you think? I know the fabric colours will not be to everyone's taste, but like they say it wouldn't do for us all to be the same, now would it? Have I decided where to hang it - not yet, as it's really far too small for a bed quilt, so a wall space will have to be found, either that or the back of a chair - I'm running out of chairs and laps to put quilts on.
