Well, I'm back at last and what a week it's been. Ann and I have been very busy with classes and our shop, so this is really the first evening when I've had time to sit down and blog. (still sounds rude to me!!!)
So what have I made this week, well not as much as I would have liked, although I have done a considerable amount of stitching on my strips and circles quilt. I have still got to do some free machining on to finish, so with any luck I will get that done this weekend.
Thistle Be are having a mini exhibition and sale on Saturday 17th November in Clarencefield Village Hall, Dumfries, from 10am - 4pm (well I've got to plug it haven't I?). We will be selling lots of lovely quilting fabrics, notions, packs, patterns, buttons, gifts, hand made items eg. bags, wallhangings, etc. So if you are in the area do pop in and see us, a warm welcome awaits, as does tea, coffee and home baking (if I can fit it in - otherwise will have to speak nicely to the neighbours!!!)
I just thought I'd put in this photo of my latest ATC's (for those of you who are interested). Ann and I had a brain wave and decided that there are so many people who give money at Christmas, and I know from personal experience that it usually goes inside a card in an envelope. It doesn't require much artistic talent, and to be quite honest is a bit boring. So we decided to spice it up a little bit, so I made little ATC's that the money could fit into and Ann folded a note into a shirt. Looks great don't you think? So this year my neices and nephew will be getting their cash a little differently. Hope they like it.
