Exhibition Day

Well it's nearly here, and this morning I have been busily making tray bakes for the refreshment stall on Saturday, just in case you don't know, it's the Thistle Be Quilting Fabric Sale and Exhibition on Saturday 17th November at the McFarlan Village Hall, Clarencefield, Dumfries, from 10am to 4pm.

We have been delighted with the response from members of our Quilting group and class members who have generously given of their time, baking and hand made items for us to display on Saturday. I hope the day goes well, I'll report back after!!!

There will be a range of wonderful fabrics, from Moda, Timeless Treasures, Michael Miller, Makower, Lonni Rossi, etc. along with quilting books and magazines, all at very low prices. Buttons, notions, rulers, boards, cutters, blades, patterns, packs, the list is endless. Our sale fabric starts at just £4 per metre - so a veritable bargain awaits. We have baskets of fat quarters made up in colour ways, or if you prefer we can make them up to your requirements. A lovely gift for that quilting friend you've got......or buy one for yourself!

We are also selling painting blanks at great prices along with various magazines all starting at £1 each, titles include: Quick and Easy Painting, Deb Malinski, Jean Zawicki, The Decorative Painter and many more.

There will also be quilted items available to buy along with hand made mohair teddy bears, bags, throws, Xmas wallhangings etc. So if you are in our area on Saturday, do call in and see us, you will be made most welcome.
