You just won't believe how I have had my ear bent today by my friend Sheila. "You have been a little lazy of late, and haven't blogged since I don't know when, so get your finger out and get on with it" or words to that effect.
It's worked, I now feel so guilty ( don't know why as I never believe anyone reads my ramblings) that I will put down what's been happening lately.
In my defence I will say that I have been rather busy with a new group that I am involved with called WOW (Women of the world) who are really fabulous. I was doing a taster session for community learning and development last week, that was very enjoyable. It was more of a stitch and bitch session (very light on the bitching I have to say) but we did get some sewing done, and the ladies went away with a small hanging decoration each.
I attended a fundraiser for MS a couple of days ago and that was a fashion show, again put on by WOW. A good night was had by all, mostly down to our fabulous compere, Marilyn, who has the gift of the gab (I sure she wouldn't mind me saying that, as it's meant as a compliment). The evening went with a swing, a lot of laughter and the meeting of old friends, some of which I haven't seen in an age.
Today I have been on the Spring Fling, which I have been promising myself that I would do for years, but finally this year we made it and it was well worth it. There are some amazingly talented artists around our area, the day was lovely, company very good and weather got better as the day went on, all in all a lovely time.

Agree with you the talent in the area is inspiring so much so I have put a binding on a wall hanging tonight right enough I've now unpicked it as the colour just wasn't right but at least its a start.x
See your nagging did work, and I am so glad that you have started to sew again, it means we can eventually get started on something new, but I am absolutely not allowing you to begin a new project until some of your UFO's are no longer in existence! x
