My daughter hit the dizzy heights of reaching 18 on the 2nd july. We decided to give her a surprise party with all her friends. It went without a hitch, she really hadn't got a clue we were organising anything, in fact she had been a bit down for a couple of days, because every time she spoke to anyone and asked if they would come out on her birthday, they all had excuses why they couldn't come, so you can imagine her delight when she arrived home to find everyone there shouting "Happy Birthday". The party went on all night, and when I got up the next day, there were kids asleep all over the house. The weather was lovely though, really warm and sunny, so the evening went well.
Back to reality now though and off for a bit of sewing, I am designing a range of items with chickens on at the moment, will post pictures when they are finished.
