Have just received an e-mail from a friend that caused much hilarity. I love the funnies, makes the day start off on a good note. Talking about starting off the day I have just heard myself on South West Sound Radio. It's funny but I don't think I sound like myself at all.... who I sound like I don't know, but I suppose it's that I don't hear how I sound to others. Does that make any sense at all? Probably not, I'm rambling I know, but it's not half past eight yet.. maybe I ought to leave this until the caffeine has kicked in and I am a little bit more lucid.
Feeling a lot better now, see I just have to have the coffee. Ann is away to Shetland for a couple of days so I'm running the show on my own - ah the power!
The weather promises to be horrendous for the next few days, so I am sure that I will get loads of sewing done without the guilty fairy sitting on my shoulder telling me the garden really needs my attention, it's no good I am definitely not getting trench foot for anyone!!!

Hi Kate, I was astounded to see my quilt on your blog and so chuffed! I am glad you liked it and it was lovely to see you again. I did so enjoy my day and also the workshop you did for the St Thomas's Patchwork & Craft Group, making the patchwork clock, which is now hanging in my sewing room and working to the minute! I hope to see you very soon and I will send you a picture of my next quilt, "Because a leaf falls a tree does not die". Wishes to "t'other half" too.
