It really was the most fabulous day, Saturday that is... our exhibition and sale went extremely well, with hundreds of people visiting. It was lovely to see all the old faces and a considerable amount of new people too. Our new class syllabus is ready to get printed, so that will be out soon, and then we will be looking forward to 2008 !! I really don't know where the time goes do you? I'm still at that "totally disbelieving look on my face" when I'm told there are only five weeks left to Christmas - I can't think that far ahead at the moment.
I was asked to post a photo of a little quilt that the bears were sitting on, so here it is, it measures 13" square, and was made by foundation piecing (sewing onto papers that are pre-drawn with the pattern, then tearing off). It is from a book on miniature quilts by Carol Doak.
