Well after having a weird couple of days (migraine !!!) I'm back on form I think and ready to face the world again. I was busy yesterday making more ATC's and also planning work for next weeks Thistle Be Quilting Class.

We're off to a grand start with Xmas projects. I have to say that I hate all the Xmas stuff in Sept and Oct (and no I'm not the sort of "Bah Humbug" person either) it's just that I like the last minute hype and excitement just a couple of weeks before hand. I suppose it's because I used to love it when I was a child, it only seemed like a short time from starting to get excited about all things Xmas to it actually happening, or is that just me forgetting what it was really like?!!!

Anyway here's what I was doing yesterday. I have joined a swap on the theme of Bonfire night, so I've made 2 already, just another one to go. I have printed pictures of fireworks onto fabric via my printer, then embellished with machine quilting and hand sewing. I had a few problems with the metallic thread and my machine (even with a metallica needle) so in the end I sewed it by hand. I'm quite pleased with the effect, just need to decide on number 3!!
